IES EL NIDO
El otro día en clase estuvimos hablando de la organización de un centro educativo y como actividad práctica nos juntamos por grupos para crear nuestro propio centro.
En nuestro grupo decidimos crear un centro público que incluye: ESO, Bachillerato y FP. Además, se trata de un centro urbano de barrio situado en Valladolid. El nombre de nuestro centro es: "IES EL NIDO" (está situado en el barrio de pajarillos ;) )
Para este centro, educación es la enseñanza basada en la ciudadanía, los valores sociales, el conocimiento y la curiosidad. Tras definir lo que es la educación para nuestro centro, el siguiente paso era ordenar una serie de valores según la importancia que le daríamos en nuestro centro. Estos valores se organizan en este orden:
- Estudios, formación, competencia profesional
- Vida moral digna
- Tiempo libre/ocio
- Amigos y conocidos
- Salud
- Familia
- Trabajo
- Vida sexual satisfactoria
- Política
- Pareja
- Religión
- Ganar dinero
Con esta actividad, nos dimos cuenta de que organizar y dirigir un centro es mucho más complicado de lo que puede parecer, y se tienen que tener en cuenta muchos factores y condiciones. Además, ordenar una serie de valores según la importancia que le queremos dar en el centro también conlleva consenso y diversas ideas o puntos de vista por parte de el director, docente, jefe de estudios, padres o alumnos entre otros. Por ello, es crucial pensar en todas las partes que participan en el centro y escuchar sus propuestas o ideas para poder evolucionar y poder adaptarse a la sociedad actual y sus necesidades.
Esta práctica me resultó muy interesante ya que, en algún punto de mi vida, tendré que ejercer como docente, jefa de estudios o directora en un centro. Por lo tanto, tendré que organizar y pensar en estos valores y en los cambios que igual se necesiten para que el centro avance. Es una tarea exigente en la que se deben tener en cuenta muchos factores y sobre todo, el bienestar de los alumnos y todos los que trabajan en el centro.

The other day in class we were talking about the organization of an educational center and as a practical activity we got together in groups to create our own center.
In our group we decided to create a public center that includes: ESO, Bachillerato and FP. Moreover, it is an urban neighborhood center located in Valladolid. The name of our center is: "IES EL NIDO" (it is located in the neighborhood of pajarillos ;) ).
For this center, education is education based on citizenship, social values, knowledge and curiosity. After defining what education is for our center, the next step was to order a series of values according to the importance we would give them in our center. These values are organized in this order:
- Education, training, professional competence
- Decent moral life
- Free time/leisure
- Friends and acquaintances
- Health
- Family
- Work
- Satisfying sex life
- Politics
- Couple
- Religion
- Earning money
With this activity, we realized that organizing and managing a center is much more complicated than it may seem, and many factors and conditions have to be taken into account. In addition, ordering a series of values according to the importance we want to give them in the center also involves consensus and different ideas or points of view from the director, teacher, head of studies, parents or students among others. Therefore, it is crucial to think about all the parties involved in the center and listen to their proposals or ideas in order to evolve and adapt to today's society and its needs.
This internship was very interesting for me since, at some point in my life, I will have to work as a teacher, head teacher or director in a school. Therefore, I will have to organize and think about these values and the changes that may be needed for the center to move forward. It is a demanding task in which many factors must be taken into account and above all, the welfare of the students and all those who work in the center.
